Building With Mr Leason

Kia ora! Today I am going to be telling you about what room 5 has been doing the past couple of weeks. So our theme was about Ruapekapeka. We first started our cross sections while I was in Aussie for 2 and a half weeks so I didn't do it but... I knew that they were doing it because they did it, it was pretty obvious they had done it without me. Then we did our Patu! A Patu is a Maori weapon. I first was onto rasping. Next was filing. And finally onto sand papering. Then I started my cross section! In Ruapekapeka the Maori's hid under ground so the British didn't attack them straight away.My Patu!
That's my Patu! Well when I wrote the stuff up there I wasn't finished but, now I am! On Sunday I gave my Patu to my dad! Since we put the linseed oil on it went through the wrapping paper, and made the white bits on the paper clear. My puppy was loving it more than my dad was.
